“Satisfaction”
Maybe
Mick can’t get no…, but for you, my friend, satisfaction is
only a phone call away! And you
won’t have to have your credit card ready when you call either…
Some
of you have experienced the very real thrill of dipping into your rarely
used creativity well and making theatre magic:
a dollar store glass, a bit of lace, and some paint becomes an
Arthurian goblet; some Styrofoam and paint turns into a stone wall; felt,
feathers, a glue gun, and voila… a fabulous hat!
|
|
Chocolate? Oh no, my
friends… Unparalleled satisfaction can be found in the dark corners of
community theatre before the spotlights begin to burn. Set construction, costumes, lights, props, décor, make-up… I’m
getting dizzy at the thought!
If
you think acting in one play a season is satisfying enough, you don’t know
what you’re missing!

|
Step
out of the light! Think out of
the box! Challenge yourself! Find a hidden talent! Pick
up a paint brush, a hammer, a glue gun, a stapler, an eyebrow pencil. For crying out loud, just come and do one of the many jobs it takes
to make these shows happen!
You’ll be glad you did.

Lakeshore Players provides an opportunity for you
to use your skills and learn new ones.
Enthusiasm is more important than experience
and workshops on different areas of theatre are
held throughout the year.
In addition to three main productions and Café
Theatre, Lakeshore Players has play readings and workshops in which new and
inexperienced members are encouraged to participate.
